Two one-day workshops
3 and 4 March
*CONFIRMED*
Workshops
We offer a number of workshops. To read a full description of each workshop, click on the title of each workshop below. The schedule of workshops is here.
Presumes that you will be working one-on-one with individuals who have self-identified as having back or neck pain, shoulder problems, and other similar physical dysfunction. This workshop is suitable for Yoga teachers, physiotherapists and massage therapists, for example, whose present practises facilitate this type of interaction. The course texts are Overcome Neck & Back Pain (4th edition) and the Overcome Neck & Back Pain DVD Update.
is designed to teach you how to teach group classes, for students to become more flexible. Accordingly this workshop teaches you about grouping exercises in sequences; how to modify poses for individual's characteristics; and how to progress this over a full term. The presumption here is that these students have not self-identified as having any particular problems, though many do! The course texts are Stretching & Flexibility, and the Stretching & Flexibility DVD Update.
The foundation of any strengthening work is sound biomechanics. The Monkey Gym work spans explicit rehabilitation through to the development of elite athletes; we all fall somewhere on that continuum, and a good strengthening program needs to begin with this goal.
and
Overcome Neck & Back Pain one-day workshop
This workshop is suited to sufferers of neck and back pain, and practitioners who treat these problems, alike. Practitioners will have an opportunity to see the Overcome Neck & Pain Pain method in action, with real people and real problems.

TESTIMONIAL
"There are so many layers to this workshop. I could attend this exact workshop multiple times and take away something different & more in depth each time."
