Stretch Therapy stretching for 'stiffies' workshop
This short workshop will introduce you to the Stretch Therapy approach, and is intended for people who have never been flexible and who feel that they want to loosen their bodies! This presentation assumes no stretching knowledge or experience, and will focus on everyone’s problem areas (we know what they are!). The goal is to feel comfortable in the body and more relaxed.
Bring your tight hamstrings along, and let us show you how to loosen them. Most people can touch their toes after using these techniques—at the very least you will be closer to the floor!

Minimum equipment strength training
“Core-strengthening” is much talked about in different modalities and can mean different things to different people. In our system, core strength means the capacity to maintain a particular shape in the spine when required, but also to be able to alter its shape and alignment under load as well. We will begin this session with standing and prone/supine core strengthening exercises, which can be done anywhere.
In this three-hour workshop, we will show you how to use the Roman rings for the most efficient core strengthening exercises available anywhere on the planet. We will add some of the fundamental static hold strength positions from men’s gymnastics, too.
The last session will introduce you to some of the basic kettlebell moves: the one- and two-handed swing; one-handed clean (including the rest position); clean and jerk; and, some other interesting moves. The kettlebell is a wonderful means of joining lower body to upper body strength.
